I have learned about aging in my past 71 years. I actually started earlier than most men when in the 1980’s (my late 30’s and early 40’s) I took a serious approach to supplements especially anti-oxidants and Sun Tan lotion, Sun Tan lotion all the time. Then in the 90’s (my early 50’s I started taking a closer look at skin care. In my 60’s I began to get serious about my diet and nutrition and exercise.
This site is dedicated to sharing with others what I have learned over those decades. My primary interest is in providing helpful information to those men over 60 but it is never too soon to begin caring about how you age. In fact the earlier you start the longer the techniques I have learned will have to make a difference. For those over 60 it is never too late to get started! Don’t wait any longer, because the longer you wait the harder it will be to correct previous damage your body has accumulated over your life.
What makes me an expert on the subject of anti-aging you ask? The answer is nothing! My intent on this site is not to prove myself any kind of expert but to share with others what my life’s journey and research has shown me. I believe some of the things I have tried really have worked for me.
There are a lot of factors that go into aging such as fitness, diet and nutrition, lifestyle and others. But if you asked me which was the most important I would have to say diet and nutrition. The others are important but diet and nutrition are the most important. Hence this will be the main focus of this site. Excuse this much over used cliche but “We are what we eat!”
Remember that I’m only a normal individual like you. I’m energetic about this stuff, however I don’t have a PhD in gerontology or even a degree in medicine. The data on this blog site is readily out there for anybody with the get up and go to look for it. I urge you to do your own studies too and make your own conclusions.
